Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what data is collected when you use gamingcorner.org ("GamingCorner", "we", "us"), who collects it, how it is used and shared, and what choices you have. GamingCorner is run by SecureAIApps.

The Short Version

Data We Do Not Collect

GamingCorner has no accounts, no login and no comments. We do not have a contact form. We do not run a newsletter, and the site has no form to sign up for one.

If you send us an email, we receive your email address and your message. We use them only to read and answer your message. See "Contact Us" below.

Google Analytics

Every page on GamingCorner loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-HEDZ7CKMTD) from www.googletagmanager.com. If you visit from the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, it loads only after you click "Accept" in the cookie bar. If you click "Reject" in "Cookie settings", it does not load. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (for example _ga and _ga_HEDZ7CKMTD) to tell visits apart. It collects data such as:

We use these reports to learn which games people play, which pages have problems, and how to make the site better. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services. To stop Google Analytics on all websites, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising (Adsterra)

GamingCorner is free because it shows ads. The ads come from Adsterra. After a page has loaded, the page loads Adsterra code. If you visit from the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, this happens only after you click "Accept" in the cookie bar. If you click "Reject" in "Cookie settings", no Adsterra code loads and you see no ads. The code comes from Adsterra's servers (highrevenueformat.com and profitableratecpmnetwork.com). This code shows banner ads (300 x 250 on all screens, and 728 x 90 on wide screens) and native ads (ads that look like a list of links or articles).

When an ad loads, Adsterra and the advertisers and ad partners that work with Adsterra can collect data about your device and your visit, for example:

They can set or read cookies and similar identifiers on your device. They use this data to choose which ads to show, to count views and clicks, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to find fraud. Ads can be based on your interests. We do not control the cookies that Adsterra and its partners use, and we do not receive the data that they collect about you. Adsterra processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Hosting and Content Delivery (Cloudflare)

Cloudflare hosts GamingCorner. Some large game files are stored with Cloudflare R2. To send the pages and files to you, Cloudflare processes your IP address and the details of each request (the address of the file, the time, and your browser's user agent). Cloudflare can keep request logs for a short time for security, to stop attacks and to find errors. Cloudflare processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Fonts

Our pages use font files that we serve from gamingcorner.org. They do not load fonts or icons from Google Fonts or other font services. Some games load their own fonts from other services. See "Games That Connect to Other Servers" below.

Games: Data Saved in Your Browser

The games run inside a frame on our pages. Many games save your progress, scores and settings in your own browser, with browser storage such as localStorage, IndexedDB and, in a few games, cookies. This data stays on your device. The games do not send it to us, and we cannot see it.

You can delete this data at any time in your browser settings, for example with "Clear browsing data" or "Clear site data". If you delete it, you lose your saved game progress.

Your Game Lists: Recently Played and Favorites

When you click Play on a game, the site adds the game to your "Recently played" list. When you click the heart on a game page, the site adds the game to your "Favorites" list. The homepage uses these lists for the "Continue playing" and "Your favorites" rows, and the search window shows your recently played games.

The site saves the two lists in your browser's localStorage, with the keys gc:recent and gc:favorites. Each list holds only the names of up to 24 games. The lists stay on your device. The site does not send them to us or to anyone else, and they are not cookies.

To delete the lists, click "Clear" next to the row on the homepage. You can also delete all data of gamingcorner.org in your browser settings, for example with "Clear site data". This also deletes your saved game progress.

Games That Connect to Other Servers

Most games come from other developers. Some of them connect to servers that we do not run. When this happens, those servers receive your IP address and browser details, and the data described below. The other companies process this data under their own policies.

We removed the ad code and tracking IDs of other websites that we found in the games. If you find a game that still sends data somewhere that this policy does not describe, please tell us.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Our own site code does not set cookies. The cookies and similar storage on our pages come from:

Your choice. If you visit from the EU, the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, a cookie bar at the bottom of the page asks if you accept cookies for ads and analytics. "Accept" and "Reject" are equal choices. Playing a game is not a choice. Until you click "Accept", Google Analytics and the Adsterra code do not load. To know if the bar must show, our site asks Cloudflare for the country of your connection. Cloudflare gives us only the country, and we do not store it. If the country is not known, the bar shows.

Visitors from other countries see no bar, and Google Analytics and the ads load. They can also click "Reject" in "Cookie settings" at any time. We save each choice in your browser's localStorage with the key gc:consent. This is necessary to remember your choice, so it needs no consent.

To change your choice, click "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page. If you click "Reject" after Google Analytics and the ads have loaded, we delete our Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_HEDZ7CKMTD) and reload the page. The Adsterra code can set cookies on its own domains and on gamingcorner.org, and our site cannot know their names. After "Reject" the Adsterra code does not load, so it cannot set new cookies. To delete the ones it set before, use the cookie settings of your browser.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers can also block third-party cookies. You can use an ad blocker. The games still work without ads. If you block all cookies and storage, some games cannot save your progress.

How We Use and Share Data

We use data to run the site, to understand how people use it, to pay for it with ads, and to keep it secure. We share data only with the services that this policy names: Google (analytics), Adsterra and its ad partners (ads), and Cloudflare (hosting). These services can process data in countries other than the one where you live.

We do not give the emails that you send us to anyone else, and we do not add you to a mailing list. We keep an email only as long as we need it to answer you and follow up.

Children

GamingCorner has no minimum age, and the games have no adult content. We do not ask any player for a name, email address or age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

The analytics and ads that this policy describes use cookies. They run for visitors outside the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland unless they click "Reject", and for visitors there only after they click "Accept". Parents who do not want this for their child can click "Reject", block cookies in the browser or use an ad blocker. If you think that a child sent us personal information, for example in an email, contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (for example in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you can have the right to:

We hold very little data about visitors. Usually we hold only the emails that people send us. Google, Adsterra and Cloudflare hold most of the data that this policy describes. For requests about their data, use the privacy policy links above. For a request about data that we hold, email us. We do not charge for this.

Changes to This Policy

We can change this policy, for example when we add a new service or change how ads work. When we change it, we update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If you continue to use the site after a change, the new policy applies.
